Marlene Rom (1997) is a bold performance artist, born in Oslo and based in Bergen.

With a background in film and theater, her artistic practice ranges from pompousperformances to satirical sculptures, traditionally-masculine textiles, provocativepaintings, vibrant videos, and international installations.

The foundation in her work is mistakes, rule-breaking and fasination. By deconstructing norms—engaging with the audience through entertainment, humor, and satire—her art emerges as a spring awakening.
